Make textures(tileset) "reflective"

Hello wow modders, I'm working on a project on which barrens is turned into a twilight zone and uses a lot of purple textures in the same way as used in Twilight Highlands. But the textures I use, in cata expansion have some sort of reflective layer which makes them look not only cool but also makes the zone look much detailed and not that empty and boring as it looks in WOTLK. Is there any way I could edit textures to make them "reflective". Thanks.

p.s I uploaded some pics. Two of them show the zones as they look in cata and two others in wotlk.Maybe you can see at the pics of what I mean with "reflective" in case you didn't understand in the beginning.

I assume this effect is not really a reflection, but a specific chunk similar to vertex colors that provides a kind of vertex "lights". This is not supported by WOTLK client as it was introduced in Cataclysm. In order to help the situation a little, you might consider painting those rocks with vertex colors and playing around with specular textures, however it is obvious that it is probably impossible to achieve the same rendering result.

I think it might be something related to the skybox and a specific lightning to the zone

I was talking about MCLV. The effect of what you have referenced is not entirely what is present on the picture. The tileset with this effect won't reflect light, it will just have a glossy surface reflecting the cubic map texture to fake real reflection.

Yes, I know. And that is exactly what is happening on the first screenshot here. MCLV on the rocks emits red light which makes it looks like the rock tileset is reflecting lava. But essentially it does not matter since MCLV is not supported by WotLK.

I think you got it wrong cause I've also thought about MCLY chunk when firstly saw this topic.

The pictures from the game show the effect of MCLV, not MCLY. MCLY effect can be seen, for example, in Icecrown and it looks different. It almost does not change the color of the tileset, but only adds the fake reflection effect.

it's definitly not MCLV here. Look at the second screen at those purple things here  that's actualy cubemaps.

The MCLV part of it is the red glow next to the pools of lava (actually, it could be the glow flag of MCLY, but that's likely not used once ever since Cataclysm).
