Shadowlands editing HELP

Hi,

I've been working on this on/off for some time.

atm I started to work with the current HDPlayerModel in shadowlands of the undead male. As I know alot of the old player base miss the old character models for retail

let alone, the option to swap, me personally. I love the old undead male model due to its amazing cast animations.

I want to try to understand this model editing more; I've come to a point I can't seem to pass,

my problem is; I do not know if I lack any program in order to fix it
atm I use;
blend, wow model viewer & wow.tools - And I use a special launcher to launch the game with the mods on.

the programs allow to drag & swap things easy around

I will upload a picture to showcase how far I am in progress
maybe expert eyes will allow the help I need. So far I am even willing to pay 10-15 EU for show me how to do this :)

have a good one

add my discord - leave a note who & where u found me

Just to add; I've tried to Convert all the texture files from wow.explore
and I've manually sit & renamed the sd to hd and import into the folder- Id made a move but not too much, so I am still awaiting if someone knows better than me

atleast it removed the face and became grey. I tried to rename almost 500 files
from
facelower
faceupper
torso
skin etc

also attached a screenshot for those who r willing to follow the progress; If u want this will all be uploaded once done & i am still willing to pay a cool spare for a resault :)

I tried to translate on google, I seem to understand abit of what u wrote;

I went to google & searched for .m2 editor

came accross this link;
[legion] .m2 010 editor - Modeling - Model Changing Network - WoW Modding Community (model-changing.net)
Which tho seem to be abit out of date

Could u recommend any programs in order to fix this issue?

i went to the button of the link I shared here;

"So... after so much struggle i finally found a way to simply change the item appearance. For that I just had to find the Item IDs of both shoulders and then modify the numbers in the following files:

- items.db2

- itemModifiedAppearance.db2

- Item-Sparse.db2

After finding the IDs of both shoulder models, I just changed then numbers of the model i wanted to change to the same as the model i wanted to get. Basically changes the look and effects of the item ingame, but for some reason not in the character screen. So there I will have to continue searching. But for now I am really happy that I finally made it... geez.... just used wowdev.wiki and read a lot about the db2 files and their structure.

Also if someone out there is looking for a db2 editor.   Get the barncastle´s WDBC editor. It works perfectly.

EDIT: appearantly it is enough to just modifiy the entries in ItemModifiedAppearance.db2"

I have no clue if this is related or not, I just think some of it sounds abit relatable

maybe u can help
