    The iconic Soul Edge from the soul calibur series, for WOTLK!! this model is roughly inspired by soul calibur 2's design of the weapon. Its blood vessels, eyelids and eye are animated, the texture is purposely low definition so the sword has the old classic feel and fits better in the game. in-game preview Enchantment visuals will not show up; i don't know how to do it and i feel it will just ruin the aesthetic of the sword The download includes the .m2, the .skin, the .blp and an additional folder containing a higher resolution texture .png and the .blend file (blender 3.1 with WBS) in case you want to modify the model/texture etc. If you don't know how to add the sword into the game, i highly suggest you check out tyrallis' guide "retroport to WOTLK- WEAPONS" and go directly to step 3 "Editing our DBC File" Hope you enjoy it!!! scale preview

    Tindral Moonkin models retroported from the Dragonflight beta. Since the model needs 4 textures and WotLK only uses 3 changeable textures for monsters, I had to hardcode the skin colors and make multiple models. Models: Tindralmoonkin_Base.m2 Base model without glowing effects Texture1 = skin Texture2 = horns Texture3 = jewelry Tindralmoonkin_(color).m2 Models with the different glowing effect.     Higher resolution models for the classic drakes, WotLK 3.3.5 Contains: - Drakemount2 folder: with various models for yout mounts (without armor, with armor + headgear and with armor + runes for the Azure drake) - Drake2 folder: with models for the regular drake mobs, if you want to switch them too. Textures to use in the dbc: - Custom creature Texture 1 = skin of the drake - Custom creature Texture 2 = used only for the Azure drake runes - Custom creature Texture 3 = used for the armor texture Just add the folders to an -mpq patch and add the models + texture choices to the creaturemodeldata.dbc and creaturedisplayinfo.dbc to start using them in in-game models. After seeing Tomkek's redesign of the Onyxian drake, I wanted to try and make a model that could be used for the old drakes and still kept most of their aesthetics intact. The higland drake model was a good start, but it really looked too "generic fantasy dragon" and missed most of the aesthetic choices that made wow classic drakes unique. I changed the wings for the wings in the Dragon2 models from Dragonflight, reshaped the head a little, reshaped the horns and for some models, added armor pieces, then rigged the meshes onto the old mounts' skeletons for animations. Then proceeded to modify the textures and recreate the colors that weren't already present (again thanks to Tomkek for both inspiration and the base texture for the crocodile scales back of the Onyxian drakel, I blatantly copy pasted it). The job might not be the best quality (this was my very first try at something more complex than retroporting models and fixing some minor issues. Texturework is amateurish at best and some animations might look a little wonky (especially the tail), but I still wanted to share the results. I hope you enjoy it.

  12. I am currently looking for someone willing to undertake this effort. The UI_RS_SCOURGE is a 2001 female Forsaken model. I'd like to have it in working conditions for a project so it can be used as a creature model. Either a rig port or a direct animation port will do. First of all sorry if this question has been answered before or anything, i just can't find any information of this topic in these forums (Not anywhere really) I know its possible to edit 3.3.5a playable races models since there are patches and mods of those races, and i want to edit one of them but i can't? Specifically, I grabbed a 3,3,5a updated races model and did my desired edits in blender but when i tried with m2redux to turn back the m2i into a m2, it says: "error: Failed to import m2i, could not open file" Any information would be helpful so thanks beforehand

  16. In some new models , like the new earth elementar, are no hardcoded textures anymore. There just this new "TxId", i saw that on wow dev but i have no idea how to find out on which place a special texture should be. Is there a way to find it out? Any new dbc? I made this with try and error but uff that need alot time and the result could be wrong.

    I use this small listfile to quickly find all the elements of a model when a new build or expansion comes out and there are no listfiles available. Just open the file with notepad and replace "Creature\ModelName\ModelName" with your model path (Edit-> Replace...), for example "character\zandalaritroll\male\zandalaritrollmale" or "creature\vulperafemalepirate\vulperafemalepirate". Then use it as your listfile in Casc Explorer. Includes .anim, .skel, .bone and .phys. Of course, it doesn't look for textures. This is quite useful for me because most released lists lack some .anim files.

  21. Hey guys, So Voila, I've been working for the past few months to retro-port all items from Cataclysm to Legion and i still have one bug left that haunt me the Waist Buckle Visual Effect. Each Waist has Buckle Visual Effect (An M2 and Multiple BLP : one for each row in ItemDisplayInfo). my current problem is that the Buckle even if the mdx and blp are added in the ItemDisplayInfo are not loaded.. whatever i do it does not load ! I've also tried to add the effect as a spell however this technique is not suitable since there's around 200 Buckle X their color. and require some M2 edit to link the blp. Note : BeltBucket Socket Attachement is correctly configured on .M2 for all Races Could it be the client that does not load the .M2 / BLP the way MoP / WOD / Legion does it ? is there any way to edit the way the client read a dbc file ?   23. I would like to create an M2 model. Which will appear on the top of some towers, like in warcraft 3. Picture: (The Sentry) This m2 will have an aura which detect enemy unit stealth characters. Any idea to do it? I would be happy if it would work like a portal spell. All the same which location you see the model, it will always face to your character. Hi guys! so, I activated some races for my servers, one of them are nagas.. and I decided to try to make them high elves, I beggined modiffing the DBCs CharHairTexture ( http://pastebin.com/KxhvEzv7 ) CharHairGeosets ( http://pastebin.com/j1BYuQs0 ) CharFacialHairStyles ( http://pastebin.com/k771FcNs ) and the last, CharSections because obviously the nagas doesnt have for all the faces and skins like the bloodElfs, so I changed that too ( http://pastebin.com/PuMXbyBK ), maked my patch with the character/naga_/male and female and the dbcs, the result is this: The females work perfectly in the charactercreate screen and ingame, but the males seems right in the character screen but ingame...doesnt https://gyazo.com/7c43d6b092617dd70f4365f03a55df63 https://gyazo.com/553694441bd0856d15fa04a9aca68713 Im very new with this staff...so could be somenthing stupid, someone know what could happend?
