  6. I just managed to download Phillip TNGs [ATBOX][RELEASE] 4.0.0 ~ 5.4.0 Maps from the exciting Baidu-Pandaria quest chain adventure clicking chinese symbols till I find wich one is ok and not cancel and so on..

    And seems his maps are working in noggit, but I have some questions for further customization..

    My goal was to downport updated old world into noggit edit it there then port it back up to cata or higher. But its more complicated, I want to keep some parts of the 335 maps. My question is whats the easiest way to do that, I know if I just deleted his adts, the 335 maps would appear I guess. But how I go deleting specific parts, lets say i want just the zone around xroads to look like 335, how I find those ADTs. They would be in world/kalimdor/barrens.. but where would I locate specific parts of the barrens?

    Next question is, lets say I achieve seeing that mix of 335 and updated world maps in noggit, what would again be the best way to place it all in one patch and port it to Cata? Bcuz deleting adts like I described above, wouldnt actually create a new patch in noggit it would just show the default 335 MPQ data.

  9. Like a standalone tool? I haven't done DBC editing much, or quest making nothing like that. So don't even know whats controling guards, guess that would be DBC, or in the sql's?

    Thats also why I was asking why are cities always one WMO, wondered if those guard-map coords required a WMO or a zone or how ever it works. I thought there mustve been a reason there always one WMO, didn't wanna make a zone in noggit, place everything then realize there are some setbacks. I'm making a racial capital btw

  11. yea was thinking about happyhacks hack lol, will deff come back to that tutorial, his topic wasn't detailed back on modcraft.

    So a city would be just a large wmo group? I could connect like 3-4 WMOs that have around 70-k verts each?

    But I'm still interested why are cities always one WMO(group), and what would be the difference if I painted chunks in noggit and then just place WMOs on that?


  12. Hi guys, I'm making a city have a couple of questions. I'm not sure how to export it all, are there tools that can convert your model into a WMO group. I know mirrormachine would crash with anything over 50k verts so thats out, what else is there?

    Second, is there any way to script guards and make them leave those locations with red dots on map? Also for the map thing, does it matter if my city is a compact wmo or should I just paint chunks in noggit make it a zone?
