  1. Noggit Red

This is an archive release of a private Noggit version.
Most of the features are implemented in Qt Noggit.
For UID sync pay attention to uid.kdb file.
For using model painter pay attention to ModelGroups.cfg file.
Use at your own risk. It may break your map, I am not responsible for the consequences of using this tool.

  2. FuTa Red | Batch alpha map import/export

This is a version of the well-known FuTa tool by Hanfer that is able to extract and import alpha maps to ADT.
    In contrast to original version:
It is able to batch export all layers from the ADTs. (File menu) It is able to batch import images from a folder with ADT files. Just place them into the folder where you have your ADT file opened, name the images appropriately (e.g. Azeroth_31_32_layer_1.png / Azeroth_31_32_layer_2.png / Azeroth_31_32_layer_3.png) and click on "Template import" in FuTa Red. Sadly, source code is lost to time.

  3. script ADTModelUIDRecalc.1sc

Purpose: Recalculates all the model UIDs in given ADTs from a specified directory including its subfolders. It can start counting UIDs from the last max UID, which can be calculated with: ADTMaxModelUIDCalculator.1sc. Highly recommended to be used on the map before its release.
Usage: Prerss F7 to run the script and select the directory. After the process is finished the last used UID will be displayed in the message box and copied to your system clipboard.
CMD version: Not available, not planned.
    Requires: WoWADT.bt
In order to run any of my scripts you need a new version of 010 editor binary templates which can be downloaded here.
Produces model duplication on borders of ADTs! Duplicates can be removed using Noggit.

  4. Skarn's Model Resource

    Skarn's Model Resource
    Introduction And Future Plans
    What are those packs?
There are a lot of neat models locked inside huge Blizzard's WMOs such as capital sities or dungeons, so I will cut those models out of there, edit them and release for you. So, everyone will be able to "legobuild" cities and dungeons right in Noggit or any other WoW Map Editor (P.S. Hello from 2015. Noggit is the only one working).
The list looks this way for now: Stormwind, Silvermoon, Darnassus, Dalaran, Ironforge.
Even after I finish with the captials, there would be so much other good stuff left. I would appreciate if someone would help me with building such database of resources. I will provide an in-depth tutorial covering the entire process soon enough.Other capital cities are to come soon.

This package contains  the entire (except for some models) Gilneas city sliced into separate models. You can practically build an entire city using them. There are houses, bridges, streets, gates, channel sidewalks and a lot more. Can't wait to see your creations based on these models!
Installation: Unpack the .ZIP archive, open WMOs folder and add the two folders containing there into your patch or working directory. Copy the content of import.txt to your Noggit 'import.txt'. Enjoy building!

Here I am releasing multiple packs containing different slices from Stormwind. Every pack is themed on a parcticular Stormwind quarter. This pack requires Cataclysm textures for Stormwind which are not yet included in the pack!
Cathedral Quarter This pack contains various standalone rich houses of Cathedral Quarter, Cathedral, different street elements and gates. Bonus: Detached elements of Cathedral which can be used in legobuilding. Keep This pack is full of towers, walls, decorative elements and other parts of the Stormwind Keep. Useful for building your own castles and keeps right in Noggit. Mage Quarter Separate houses, entire streets and a lot of walls and towers. Old Town A lot of canal models, houses and other environment from the Old Town of Stormwind.  Dwarf Quarter Many house models and walls.
If there are any bugs, don't hesitate to comment. Happy modding.

  5. Legion M2s and WMOs for WotLK

This patch contains all available (those we have a lisfile for) models from Legion Beta converted on WoTLK (3.3.5a).
It does not contain .ADTs and other map related files.
The aim of this release is to enlarge the range of assets worldbuilders can use for creating zones.

  7. M2CollisionCloner

Purpose: Clones collision from one .m2 model to another. Useful for making trees or similar objects that do not require collision identical to geometry. For example, make two versions of a tree model. One with leaves and one without leaves. Export all models to M2 using OBJtoM2 or any other existing converter/exporter and run the script. Also works for creating invisible walls and other collision things.
Usage: Prerss F7 to run the script and select the source and destination file. Done.
CMD version: Not available, not planned.
Requires: "basics.h" and "M2TemplateLight.bt" (included in the release).
In order to run any of my scripts you need a new version of 010 editor binary templates which can be downloaded here.

  8. ADTOffsetRemover.1sc

Purpose: Removes Z offsets of MCNKs in given ADT files. It does not add their values to actual heightmap data, so this can be used only for fixing offset-related bugs after the usage of tools like OBJtoADT or similar ones that work with heightmap data but does not pay attention to MCNK Z offset.
Usage: Prerss F7 to run the script and select the ADT files to process.
    CMD version: To come.
    Requires: WoWADT.bt
In order to run any of my scripts you need a new version of 010 editor binary templates which can be downloaded here.

  11. Skarn's Alphamapping Template Collection

This a small collection of various alphamapping templates that I gathered over the years of doing WoW modding. This release includes mountain templates from different zones, tileable ground (grass) templates and some other things.
Here I will explain more specifically:
Tileable Mountain Range.psd contains an interesting set of alphamaps ripped from Hyjal (3.3.5a version). They consist of fragments which you can combine in order to create endless tileable ranges of mountains. Blizzard also used this technique up to TBC, so there is not really much shame to be repetitive at that point. Eversong.psd contains the entire Eversong Woods zone mountains exported. Use it freely for getting mountain patterns for your zones. Howling Fjord Mountains.psd contains a huge mountain template ripped from Howling Fjord. Actually, it is not particularly blizzlike as I combined two mountains from Howling Fjord into a huge one, as I needed for my project. This template works out better with snowy texture scheme, but can also look good with grass (will actually look like Scottish Highlands).  Various Mountains.psd is a collection of different alphamapping templates ripped from some WoW zones. There are Hyjal templates, Darkmoonfaire templates. I don't know where I got this from but I am glad to share it. Corrupted Island.psd contains a custom alphamap based on Lost Isles template. It was created by Axel when we worked on a project together. It may actually be useful for creating volcanic and corrupted zones. Maybe something Legion or Outland themed. Grass:Durotar.png is a tileable version of Durotar dirt pattern. Elwynn_Forest is the most generic alphamap that doesn to always look good but sometimes it comes in handy and useful. Also tileable. Emerald Dream (2 layers) is a 2-layered alpahamap replicating the patterns from old Emerald Dream maps. Those fields with gigantic flowers is what I am talking about. Tileable. Eversong Woods.png is a grass higlight template ripped from Eversong. This is actually my favourite template as it provides one of the smoothest grass patterns in the game. Though, there is one thing about it. It can only be used on top of a permanent (zero) layer of your ADT, cololored in dark grass, as it is a highlight layer. Otherwise, it won't look good. Tileable. Lost Isles.png is a tileable grass template I ripped ages ago from Lost Isles. It is very weird but maybe someone will find a use out of it. If someone is wondering how to use it and what for: Click

  15. Merfed's WoW Modding Repository

I have recently came across a really useful resource created by merfed. Basically it contains almost all the tools that exist in WoW modding scene so far, so you can quickly get them. There are also a bunch of various tutorials and guides there.
