Someone picked up the development, go >here< to follow the progress and send your issues Here is my multi converter, it can convert m2, wmo, adt, wdt and anim (7.3.5) from Legion to be used on wotlk (map can be visited with the client or edited with noggit). M2 using .skel are not supported. To use it just open it then drag and drop the files you want to convert (or a folder containing some, subfolder included) and click on "Fix", the files will be overwritten and it will delete the files that are unused on wotlk. If the .skin files are in the same folder they will be converted too. M2 already converted to LK format won't be converted again. As for WMO converting them multiple time won't affect them. ADT need their _tex0 and _obj0 counterpart to be converted. Warning: don't take the WDL files from blizzard, they have changed and causes wow error. Warning 2: the next releases of Noggit will require you to use the version 3.3 or newer, the m2 converted with the old versions were missing some data that Noggit now need, without it'll crash. What needs to be done : Fix forward flying animation for a few models Animation particles Set WMOs liquid types that correspond when the ID is too high Set fel liquid to green lava on adt for a better / more accurate look Some map might not look good because several effect like texture scaling that aren't there in wotlk, the 2 additional layers for texture introduced in wod, ... For those who want to report a problem : Tell me on which model(s) you've seen the problem and add screen(s), it help me fixing the problem faster. And send me your error.log where there are errors during the conversion !! And please use an external website to upload the screens because each time I upload a new version the screenshots in comments appear in the changelog for some reasons and I have to delete them which also delete them from the comments Thanks a lot to : All those who contributed / are contributing to the wiki, I couldn't have done it without this precious source of informations! Mjollna for her m2 converter and awesome ADT diagram! PhillipTNG for his m2 conversion script which helped me write mine in the beginning. Sources are now available, see last release.

There was a report about this supposedly containing malware, though my PC is clean, the pack is clean, and the reporting person's antimalware was behaving in a very odd and jumpy manner overall. Note that this pack contains couple of apps which are pretty much straight up hacks and many apps from "unknown publishers", there's also file downloading launcher and whatnot - it is susceptible material to being marked by antimalware. It should be clean. But it's up to you whether you trust me on that. As a rule of thumb, please, check README.txt file in any directory where such file is before using that part to ensure you know all the important info. Contents: AmarothTools AmarothsLauncherRelease - a fairly primitive launcher based on reading config files and downloading/uploading changelog, patches and addons from FTP. AmarothsToolkit - old version of my toolkit, later I decided to split the project into the following tools. ClientItem - a pair of tools fo syncing item_template <-> Item.dbc. GobGenerator - generates gobjects in gameobject_template out of models provided in GameObjectDisplayInfo.dbc ListfileCreation - do not use unless you know what are you doing. NPCGenerator - for Creature displayID WMV > DBC > DB pipeline. WMOListFile - for obtaining a full list of files used by ADTs, M2/MDX and WMO in the folders under this. Note that its code sucks and is not 100% perfect. CASC CascView - 32 and 64bit versions of CascView, required for obtaining Blizzard files for conversion into WotLK. Listfile - listfiles for extracting files with CascView. DBC LightMapper - can be used for a great visualisation of lights on a map. WoWSpellEditor_1.8.8 - haven't gotten to actually testing this tool yet, but definitely worth sharing. WDBX Editor - for DBC editing, DBC <-> CSV conversions etc. EnGBBlizzlikeDBCs - just blizzlike DBCs, can be useful as a backup. Map AdtAdder - a small tool for mass copy-pasting ADT for inicial filling of a new map/newly expanded map, don't forget to run offsetfix afterwards as well. ADTGrids - some helpers you can use, reflecting basic grids on ADTs. FuTa - a tool for importing and exporting alpha maps (painting textures on ADTs with Photoshop). GroundEffects - tools for applying, removing or changing ground effects on ADT. GruulMeWDT - my preferred way of editing (editing, not creating!) WDT files. NoggitQt_3_2771 - an up to date test version of map editor. NoggitSDL_3_1408 - this is old SDL version of Noggit. It is non-public release, newer than SDL 1.4, fairly stable, may be able to open something Qt cannot. Rius Zone Masher - I do not really remember why I have not ever been using this tool for creation of new maps - I just know I have not been using this tool :D. Sharing it regardless. Models anim porter - I do not even remember what this is for, do not know wthere it is up to date, nor whether it is still useful at all. M2ModRedux 4.6.1 - same like anim porter. MDLVIS 1.40 - same like anim porter. MDX - same like anim porter. MultiConverter_3.3.0 - Officially Legion > WotLK converter, but seems to do alright with BFA as well. Scripts - a mix of random stuff, same like anim porter. OBJtoM2 could be useful if you for any reasons cannot use WoW Blender Studio. Leaving it here for the time being. WoW Blender Studio - still under development, but should make all the other stuff in Models section outdated and redundant. MPQ FuckItUp.exe - removes (listfile) from MPQ, making files more difficult to extract, and thus edit or steal. MPQEditor.exe - v3.2.0.535 is a very old version, but I found it to be very reliable. I had issues with up to date versions, and rather reverted back instead of risking having files corrupted. Other 010 - scripts and templates for 010 Editor. Mordred_LoginScreen - what I have used to make my own custom login screens. PuTTy_0.73 - for managing the server WMT335a - camera hack, light testing. WMV - couple of versions of WoW Model Viewer. HxDsetup.exe - HxD can be used as an alternative hex editor, unlikely to be useful to any 010 Editor owner. xyz-hack.exe - useful for precise gobject spawning. This is a hack, please, do not abuse. Textures BLPConverterGUI - enables mass PNG <-> BLP converting. BLPPhotoshopPlugin_1.0 - Photoshop BLP file support. README.txt - version, release date, links… Wow.exe - removed MD5 check, enabling UI edits within patches etc. Share this with your players, especially if you want to customize anything in your UI, including the login screen. If you are following my english YT channel, this is a toolpack I will be using there. Overview video: My Eng YT channel HERE

Skarn's Model Resource Introduction And Future Plans What are those packs? There are a lot of neat models locked inside huge Blizzard's WMOs such as capital sities or dungeons, so I will cut those models out of there, edit them and release for you. So, everyone will be able to "legobuild" cities and dungeons right in Noggit or any other WoW Map Editor (P.S. Hello from 2015. Noggit is the only one working). The list looks this way for now: Stormwind, Silvermoon, Darnassus, Dalaran, Ironforge. Even after I finish with the captials, there would be so much other good stuff left. I would appreciate if someone would help me with building such database of resources. I will provide an in-depth tutorial covering the entire process soon enough.Other capital cities are to come soon. This package contains the entire (except for some models) Gilneas city sliced into separate models. You can practically build an entire city using them. There are houses, bridges, streets, gates, channel sidewalks and a lot more. Can't wait to see your creations based on these models! Installation: Unpack the .ZIP archive, open WMOs folder and add the two folders containing there into your patch or working directory. Copy the content of import.txt to your Noggit 'import.txt'. Enjoy building! Here I am releasing multiple packs containing different slices from Stormwind. Every pack is themed on a parcticular Stormwind quarter. This pack requires Cataclysm textures for Stormwind which are not yet included in the pack! Cathedral Quarter This pack contains various standalone rich houses of Cathedral Quarter, Cathedral, different street elements and gates. Bonus: Detached elements of Cathedral which can be used in legobuilding. Keep This pack is full of towers, walls, decorative elements and other parts of the Stormwind Keep. Useful for building your own castles and keeps right in Noggit. Mage Quarter Separate houses, entire streets and a lot of walls and towers. Old Town A lot of canal models, houses and other environment from the Old Town of Stormwind. Dwarf Quarter Many house models and walls. If there are any bugs, don't hesitate to comment. Happy modding.

A project I started initially to learn how DBC files worked that eventually turned into this and thought it was worth a share. This editor has full support for reading and saving all release versions of DBC, DB2, WDB and ADB. This does include support for Legion DB2 and ADB files and works with all variants (header flags) of these. Like the other editors I’ve used a definition based system whereby definitions tell the editor how to interpret each file’s columns - this is a lot more reliable than guessing column types but does mean the definitions must be maintained. So far, I've mapped almost all expansions with MoP being ~50% complete and everything else being 99%+ (excluding column names). Source can be found here. Features: Full support of release versions of DBC, DB2, WDB and ADB (WCH3 and WCH4 are not supported as I deem them depreciated) Can be set as the default file association Opening and having open multiple files regardless of type and build Open DBC/DB2 files from both MPQ archives and CASC directories Save single (to file) and save all (to folder) Standard CRUD operations as well as go to, copy row, paste row, undo and redo Hide, show and sort columns A relatively powerful column filter system (similar to boolean search) Displaying and editing columns in hex (numeric columns only) Exporting to a SQL database, SQL file, CSV file and MPQ archives Importing from a SQL database and a CSV file An Excel style Find and Replace Shortcuts for common tasks using common shortcut key combinations A help file to try and cover off some of the pitfalls and caveats of the program (needs some work) Tools: Definition editor for maintaining the definitions WotLK Item Import to remove the dreaded red question mark from custom items WDB5 Parser which is an attempt to automatically parse the structure of WDB5 files Things to Note: You need .Net 4.6.1 installed (download) Importing gives you the option to import; new rows, changed and new rows and to override all data Exporting to MPQ allows you to append to an existing archive or to create a new one Currently any SQL import must have identical columns to the file’s definition Legion ADB files MUST have the DB2 counterpart open before as required information is stored in the DB2 file. The program will prioritise DB2 if DB2 and ADB are opened at the same time The WDB5 Parser works surprisingly well thanks to the new field structure data however it does trip up on inline strings so definitions may need to be validated manually Undo, redo and copy data history are lost when changing the current file Everything is stored in memory so if your PC is ancient the program will crash attempting to read hundreds of files at once! Credits go to Ladislav Zezula for the awesome StormLib and thanks to all those that contribute to the WoWDev wiki. I’ve also patched the definitions together for various sources across the internet, there are too many to name, but thanks to all.

For more detailed description and screenshots visit this project's page: Patch contains always the newest version of all buildings, all textures used by them (I make copies of Blizzard textures, mainly because if anyone of you happens to have them already and have them edited in any way, the look of my models is preserved) and also all M2s used in doodad sets. Models are for 3.3.5a, so if you work on a newer expansion, WMOs should work just fine for you (if not, consult more experience devs in such matters than I am) and you might want and need to replace M2s in doodad sets by the ones which are actually for your expansion. I'm just a beginner at WMO creation, so you might want to edit these models a little bit. I'm always opened to suggestions and feedback (even while I also like to do things in my way, by my rules, following my opinions). You can use this for your personal projects, however, I'd like to ask you to add me into the list of contributors who helped you with creating that project. I probably shouldn't have to ask for this, it should be a matter of course, but... I think I don't have to finish this sentence. If you want to support me for making this, my Paypal account is jantoms@seznam.cz Version 1.0 - the first set of 4 buildings, which are quite small, have up to 2 rooms. No cellars, no doodad sets, have slightly bugged transparency at windows, those are reasons why they might be subject of change later.

About: This Launcher's main purpouse is to be easy, fast and convenient to use for both players and admins. Players get their client updated by clicking on one buttons, and admins don't have to spam news with patch releases, links to new versions of patches and so on. Launcher is nearly fully configurable and src is included, so you can do basically whatever you want with it. You can also fully translate your Launcher to your native language (or correct any posible mistakes I made since english ins't my mature language :D). You can also create multiple versions with different languages - all this without actually changing a src. If you happen to need to change src anyway, its written in C# (WinForms) and hopefully not too messy or too badly documented for you. Please note that this is the first version to ever be released (its actually a configurable remake of already released software, but... well). It is possible there are some unhandled exceptions or even bugs. I have been testing this tool for some time and there shouldn't be any real major issues, but one never really knows for sure. Keep a backup of your game client and don't set KeepBackups in config to 0 unless you are really confident this works correctly. Launcher is capable of following things: Deleting Cache folder. Removing (I use different word because optionally the most recent backups are being kept) outdated (or on web's filelist missing) MPQs in Data folder. Downloading any files specified in web's filelist into any specified local path in WoW's client folder. Unziping zipped folders (sadly, only zip is supported, rar, 7z and others not). Useful for AddOns. Dividing files into two categories - optional, and non-optional. User can choose which optional files are to be downloaded. All files can be organized into LinkedLists. If a file with a LinkedList is optional, it is an optional group. Player can either keep all files from an optional group, or none of them. Optional group can contain both files and zipped folder (AddOns). Self-updating, if a new version is released. Version system is based on one simple double-typed version number. Using different filelists. Which means you can have separated filelist (and files) for GMs/Devs and for players. Launcher also includes Changelog Browser (changelog entries have name, date, description and optionally a picture). There is also a Changelog Editor. To access it, you need to enter FTP login information. This serves for authentization of staff members, and also enables Launcher to upload edited changelog to FTP (so you don't have to put it there by hand). File downloading fully asynchronously, so users can browse changelog while files are being downloaded. Download speed, progress bar, percentage and stuff like that are being shown as well. Displaying of "hello image" which can for example be an image with some breaking news and stuff like that. How to configure: Rename your Launcher to whatever you want. Something like MyProjectsLauncher. Create a folder on your web where web side files will be kept. You can divide multiple things into multiple paths, but I'd recommend you to just have everything at one place. I'll call this a web's root folder (root folder for launcher stuff, not for web as whole, hopefully you understand me). Your web's root folder must contain file with current Launcher's version (I use launcherversion.conf). This file must contain only one double-typed number with . as a separator. Version of Launcher I'm releasing here is 1.0. You can change your Launcher's version in Core/Config.cs. If Launcher finds that value in launcheversion file is higher that its version, it attempts to update itself. Your web's root folder also must contain a zip file with a Launcher, its LauncherConfig.conf and optionally with its LauncherIcon.ico. I've named it Launcher.zip, again, you can rename it. Your web's root folder also should contain changelog.xml. If it is empty or isn't found, a new one will be created when you'll try to create a changelong in Changelog Editor. Add a hello image (in my case hello.jpg) into your web's root folder. This image will be displayed in Launcher's main window and will most likely be used by you for displaying some breaking news. Add a realmlist.wtf file into web's root folder, if you want Launcher to change realmlist of players to your server. Also add the most important file for Launcher to your web's root folder: a filelist. I've called it filelist.conf. You can have multiple filelists on your web and release multiple Launcher versions which use different filelists. By using this technique you can release a Launcher for developers and a Launcher for players, which use different filelists and thus can download different files. Set your filelist. Follow examples in my filelist which you can find in an example web root folder I've added into this release. Read instructions very carefully, as filelist syntax should be strictly followed. Launcher can handle some fooled up entrys, but not all, and if filelist isn't succesfully readen (or if any files mentioned in it are missing/paths to those files in a filelist are incorrect), Launcher will simply refuse to update a game client. Open a ChangelogConfig.xml. You'll need to change all data in Paths element - make really sure that those paths are correct. By doing this you'll connect a Launcher to your website. Pay especially high attention to FTP path to a folder where changelog.xml is, what it should look lile- You may want to change something in Main element. Its not very likely, but take a look there. MainWindow element contains WindowName subelement. You'll most likely want to edit this. ChangelogEditor element contains DateFormat subelement. If you want to change this, DO SO BEFORE YOU CREATE A CHANGELOG. Otherwise you will end up with incompatible changelog and Launcher. The rest of ChangelogConfig.xml contains names for UI elements and various messages Launcher can output. Create your own icon in PNG format, google some online PNG to ICO converter. Done. Test if everything works correctly and release a Launcher. Launcher is to be put into WoW's root directory and thats pretty much all. Making this application took really some time and effort, I had to learn a lot of things to make it work and plan to make more tools and apps for WoW development. If you really like my Launcher and want to give me at least something in return to support me back, my Paypal account is: jantoms@seznam.cz Its ofc up to you. Launcher is here for free, with source included. Do whatever you want with it. You may both keep using just my Launcher (and future releases, it runs on my project ad well, so I'll probably keep releasing bug fixes and so on) or create a new one based on this. I do realize that some parts of an app need improvement, let me know if you have any ideas or if you want to contribute to code of this public version. This a small collection of various alphamapping templates that I gathered over the years of doing WoW modding. This release includes mountain templates from different zones, tileable ground (grass) templates and some other things. Here I will explain more specifically: Tileable Mountain Range.psd contains an interesting set of alphamaps ripped from Hyjal (3.3.5a version). They consist of fragments which you can combine in order to create endless tileable ranges of mountains. Blizzard also used this technique up to TBC, so there is not really much shame to be repetitive at that point.Eversong.psd contains the entire Eversong Woods zone mountains exported. Use it freely for getting mountain patterns for your zones.Howling Fjord Mountains.psd contains a huge mountain template ripped from Howling Fjord. Actually, it is not particularly blizzlike as I combined two mountains from Howling Fjord into a huge one, as I needed for my project. This template works out better with snowy texture scheme, but can also look good with grass (will actually look like Scottish Highlands). Various Mountains.psd is a collection of different alphamapping templates ripped from some WoW zones. There are Hyjal templates, Darkmoonfaire templates. I don't know where I got this from but I am glad to share it.Corrupted Island.psd contains a custom alphamap based on Lost Isles template. It was created by Axel when we worked on a project together. It may actually be useful for creating volcanic and corrupted zones. Maybe something Legion or Outland themed.Grass:Durotar.png is a tileable version of Durotar dirt pattern.Elwynn_Forest is the most generic alphamap that doesn to always look good but sometimes it comes in handy and useful. Also tileable.Emerald Dream (2 layers) is a 2-layered alpahamap replicating the patterns from old Emerald Dream maps. Those fields with gigantic flowers is what I am talking about. Tileable.Eversong Woods.png is a grass higlight template ripped from Eversong. This is actually my favourite template as it provides one of the smoothest grass patterns in the game. Though, there is one thing about it. It can only be used on top of a permanent (zero) layer of your ADT, cololored in dark grass, as it is a highlight layer. Otherwise, it won't look good. Tileable.Lost Isles.png is a tileable grass template I ripped ages ago from Lost Isles. It is very weird but maybe someone will find a use out of it.If someone is wondering how to use it and what for: Click

I made this model to test how different materials and particles interacted with each other. The result was not optimal and I couldn't add all the effects I wanted due to WoW's old rendering engine. This patch allows you to spawn almost every wmo and m2 existing in the Warlords of Draenor 6.2.3 client as a GameObject on your server. It requires both client and serverside modification. Read the readme file. If you're not using TrinityCore then you might need to inspect the SQL file and make sure it works for you. To answer whether or not this can be used on earlier versions of WoD: I have no idea.

A project that I’ve worked on and off over the last 8 months, the original idea was to create a simple sandbox with basic networking for the original Alpha client (0.5.3) however, as per usual, it evolved and I’ve implemented (read: thrown together) the base of a few other systems. I’ve not worked on this for 3+ months so thought someone else might be interested in reviving this as I don't plan on continuing this project. A quick disclaimer: this was never intended to be a commercial project and therefore it is the definition of spaghetti code! I wouldn’t recommend trying to use this for a public server or to even work on the code; just simply as a reference. If I were to redo this I’d use one of the vanilla cores as a base and work back from that. Current status of features: Chat and emotes Chat channels not implemented Items Trading No enchanting through the chat window Groups Group loot not implemented Quests No ScriptDev equivalent so scripted quests won't work Not all of the correct quest filters are applied Issue with displaying quest objective count Instance portals Instancing itself is not implemented Gameobjects Only spawning (chests are animated though!) NPCs Vendors, talent trainers, bankers and skill trainers are working to some degree Basic faction implementation Friend/Ignore List Talent “tree” Spell effects not implemented Spell casting Spell effects not implemented but cast animations and pre cast checks are Creatures Can melee combat Looting works but couldn’t figure out how looting worked in terms that tagging mobs wasn’t a feature, should everyone have access to the dead mob’s loot? Movement isn’t correct AI not implemented Basic faction implementation Leveling Correct talent and skill points being applied as well as the animation Some things to note: I couldn’t find any reliable source to say if guilds even existed at this stage. The packets are there and the code is in the client but whether it was released I’m not sure so haven’t implemented it All settings are in the Globals.cs file including level cap I’ve used a Mangos 1.12.1 database as the backend so a lot of items/creatures/stats are wrong GM Commands include .additem <item number> .addskill <skillid> .setskill <skillid> <amount> <max amount> .kil .level <level> .money <copper amount> .setpower <amount> Saving is something I started working on but never really implemented The saving and database mechanic works around a custom ORM I built which is heavily reflection reliant Under the common project there is a file called structs.cs in the Constants folder. This is every struct I could extract from the client Username and password is in the wow.ses file inside the client directory; by default the server will create an account based on this information On my keyboard the '@' key brings up the client's debug console one very helpful command is "speed <amount>". The default being 6 and the max being ~50. Requirements: .Net 4.6.1 MySQL Installation: Client Download: ISO direct link Rar direct link Server: Extract the DBC files to a folder named “dbc” under the root directory MPQEdit works for this Unzip and run the SQL file in the Database.zip archive Inside the App.Config file is a MySQL connection string, change this to point to the above database If you’re running the compiled version the config is called WorldServer.exe.config Creature a shortcut to WoWClient.exe and add –uptodate to the end i.e. "E:\World of Warcraft Alpha 0.5.3\WoWClient.exe" –uptodate Continuation: As I said before, I never intended to release this or use it for an actual server this was just a project to explore the Alpha further than the original sandboxes. However if a team decides to work on this I’ll be more than happy to lend a hand or offer what information I’ve sourced. Source code can be found here: https://github.com/barncastle/Alpha-WoW The download link is a compiled version with DBCs

Given Arathor's phase of the project finished and I no longer have the need to hold onto this patch, I'm releasing it out here. I'm fine with anyone using the resources from it for their own projects so long as I'm properly credited for the work I poured into it. The patch itself is a wee bit rushed and clunky (eg. custom items aren't new items but replaced unused items and other similar quirks), but it works. You can find a handful of screenshots in this project entry, can easily get more ingame or in noggit. Enjoy!

I found it in my old computer, I don't really know what it contains but I'm sure it was made by SirFranc AND Stromgarde is in it, I'm 100% sure. This patch is useless for me and I know Sirfranc allowed this share, so I give it to you, maybe you'll find some interesting things
