Well, it can be done in 010, possibly. Everything can be done in 010 editor. The question is: would that be easier? Its like painting with Pencil tool in Paint. Yes, you can go around a picture and paint every pixel manually by hand with Pencil, by selecting various colors to create some piece of art. Or, well... you can also use Photosho/Gimp and their brushes.

Its called UV mapping and its part of model structure itself (so its included in M2/OBJ file). You would need to edit a model in 3D software. And it would be quite tedious task to do.

Anyway, you need to create a new textures by using IDs of faces, haircuts and item display IDs (cleaner looking way), or you need to remake all textures - by applying WoD face textures on preWoD baked textures, so you basically just retexture/reskin face part of model. The result won't be clean at all, but it will do. About automatic ways of doing so, I also saw some Photoshop script somewhere on Modcraft and sadly I also don't know where now. Well, at least you know a little bit more what to do or what to look for. I'm afraid I can't help you any further.

I am not entirely sure why would you do such thing. At least if I understand correctly what you want to do. You have preWoD models and want to apply baked textures from WoD on them? Why not creating a new ones by using preWoD textures and the same items as are those on WoD textures? It would be probably quicker, cleaner and better-looking.

When mists disappear and skybox is deleted... It becomes quite a romantic place. You can see here that blood and romance are close to each other. You can easily turn beautiful things to the most wicked things, and fog and skybox can be just enough for the job. -

This was an elven city, sacked by Fel Horde, where dozens of innocents and civilians were massly executed. The very place became haunted and cursed because of atrocities which happened there, making grass and leaves red, trees were left dying. Travelers (even living elves) had to avoid this place before ghost were finally calmed and befriended later. -

There are places which are nice when sun sets. And there are places which are beautiful when night comes. -
I have been leading project Arathor RP for nearly 2 years, and about 18 months were spent in location shown here. A lot of zones were changed, because Arathor is RP server and players and events just shaped landscape a lot. I have also wanted to improve quality of some my zones to polish them up a little bit. Zone is no longer in use, players were moved to new location, Mythia.

Bamboo isle was next to Exodus. Old elven ruins completely overrun by this plant were sosmething quite unique and I just wanted to create such place.
